U12 Hurling C/ship & U16 hurling league update

Lee Strand U16 County Hurling league
Division 1

In division 1, a back game between St Brendans & Kilmoyley, saw Kilmoyley take the points on a score line of Kilmoyley 1-11 St Brendans 1-07. The remaining back game div 1 was played on Tuesday evening between St Brendans & Lixnaw, at the earlier time of 5.45pm in Ardfert. Both teams played to a draw St Brendans 3-05 Lixnaw 2-08 and a draw was all that was needed for Lixnaw now to advance to the S/f’s are on Monday next Aug 9th @ 7pm with Lixnaw at home to Kilmoyley and the winner to meet Causeway in the FINAL on Mon Aug 16th @ 7.00pm.


Division 2.
Abbeydorney advanced to the final having defeated Ballyheigue in the last remaining game in the league on a score line of Abbeydorney 3-19 to Ballyheigue’s 2-7.
Ballyduff finished in second place and now have home advantage against Ballyheigue in the semi final which will throw in, in Ballyduff on Saturday evening next at 6pm and the final will also go ahead on Monday August 16 @ 5.45pm.

The Michael Reidy Memorial U12 Hurling Championship
The championship will commence on Saturday Aug 14th  with all 1st Round games throwing in at 3pm. The first named team has home venue and the winners will go forward to the quarter final and will have home advantage again.

Ballyheigue v Ballyduff.
Causeway a bye.
Dr Crokes v Dingle.
