Asdee/Bally 3-11 Castlegregory 2-11.
Played at O Rahilly Park Ballylongford on Wednesday evening last the visitors after been 11pts down at the interval staged a marvellous second half recovery and were most unlucky in the end not to have got at least a draw. The opening half saw the combination side dominate proceedings and goals from Eoin "Bomber" Tydings and John Neville left them well in control and led 2-8 to 0-3. However on the changeover Castlegregory upped their game and had the home side on the backfoot for the most part of this half. Goals from the impressive Aaron Creen and Brandon Hoare at the three quarter stage had cut the deficit. The home side did tag on a few points only to be pegged back once again and during the remaining minutes the game could have gone either way; in fact Castle did have a glorious goal opportunity to hit the front but the ball sailed over to narrow the gap to a 2pt margin. However Asdee/Bally held their nerve and in the dying minutes Padraig O Neill kicked over to secure a hard earned but just about deserved win. For the home side Eoin Tydings who was the game's top scorer  while Kieran O Connor, John Neville and Tadhg McEllistrim impressed. Castlegregory the already mentioned along with Timmy Walsh and Micheal Mullally were best.

Ballymac 4-7 Annascaul  4-6
Played in glorious sunshine this was as exciting a game as you could wish for Annascaul had the ball in the net inside 2 minutes thanks to Sean Brosnan. Ballymac's defence tighened  up after that and a goal after 5 minutes from Christy Leen energised them. They added points from Sean Bermingham,, Niall Sullivan and a goal from Killian Brosnan. Sean Brosnan pointed for Annascaul. Killian Brosnan got 2 points for Ballymac. and on the stroke of half time JJ Llanders goaled for Annascaul to leave the half time score Ballymac 2-4 Annascaul 2-1.
Annascaul scored 3 pts on the trot when play resumed and Huey O'Brien goaled for them after 10 minutes. From the kick out Ballymac won possesion and Niall Sullivan goaled for them. Both sides exchanged points and JJ Landers goaled for Annascaul after 25 mins to give them a 3 pt lead. Ballymac rallied again and with time almost up Gary Horan goaled for them. An injury time point from Christy Leen won this tight game for Ballymac. Others to impress were Timmy Smith, Jerry Foley, Aidan Cox and superb goalie Alan Falvey. Best for Annascau were Aaron Dunne, Jack O'Shea, C Rodgers, Jonathan Brick and super sub Tomas O'Connor.
