Coach Education Workshop

As you know 2009 was an excellent year for underage hurling in Kerry and now it is important that we build on this success and continue this improvement.

We are looking to have a structured and organised Club Coaching and Development Squad system in place, not just for 2010 but also for the future that will benefit Kerry Hurling for years ahead.

As part of this we are looking to hold a Coach Education Workshop for Club Coaches and Development Squad Coaches on Friday night 22nd January and Saturday 23rd January in the Causeway GAA grounds and the recently developed Hurling-Wall Facility. It is important that all club coaches attend these workshops, i.e. U6 to Senior.

Coaches from Munster will carry out these sessions and it will look at different aspects of coaching and the development of our young players.

The new Hurling Wall facility will also be officially opened on Saturday afternoon after which refreshments will be provided.
